The East didn't brace other regions the same way other regions brased NY(earlier on) the same way Americans of all regions(south, west, midwest, etc) don't brace non Americian Hip Hop.

I think Gucci is garbo and he can rhyme over Pete Rock and Premo beats and I wouldn't listen past the first time most likely. I think OJ has the worst freestyle of all time. That's only bias against wack Mc's.

How can the northeast be the most close-minded when we play music from other regions more than our own shit? It's 100 times harder to break a NY (sounding) artist in another region than vice versa.

... And if you're talking about fans, you're also off because there's countless girls, white boys and young impressionable kids in NY that fuck with that southern and western music. The only ones that are really not feeling anything besides that NY style or street lyrical style of rap are the Hip-Hop heads, who are easily in the minority.

With that said, my answer to this question is the West. You seem to need key cosigns before you can blow up, and you have to be affiliated with the ones who already paved the way or at least have their respect. They still have that old-fashioned way of doing things in their music culture.
