I'll never understand folks saying Eminem bodied Jay but yet people stay quoting Jay lines from Renegade.

Cuz you can still get bodied and have a dope verse. No one said Jay's verses were wack.

A perfect example of this is what Canibus did to Common on Making A Name For Ourselves. I vividly remember going to school the next day and saying "How Common let Canibus upstage him on his own track like that?". But Canibus was a beast back then, he was murdering every beat moving.

I was a big Jay fan, but I'll admit i do remember people talking about how eminem got him b4 ether even dropped.

A better example would be how I never heard anybody complaining about Jay rapping like a Fu-schnicken til Nas said it
