i think rappers can only have street cred in their own city.. just cuz a rapper gets on record talkin bout guns n shit dont mean niggas in the street r gonna respect him, or have too.. Gucci probably holds it down in Atlanta but he aint goin to Chicago n makein moves in the hood. i know wen niggas come to milwaukee they get robbed (allen iverson, lil flip) just to name a few.. so obviously there aint too much street cred out there for celebritys..

I dont think that that means their street cred only apply's to their city. Any nigga can get got. Some of the hardest niggas that ever did it has been robbed or shot b4 it doesnt mean your lacking in cred its just sombody got you first. Im from east Baltimore and gettn robbed aint that much of a big deal here bcuz niggas know that if your a real street dude and you play the streets like that then eventually u will be a victim its just a fact of the streets.
