Orton's legend killer gimmick was hella over unfortunately he started getting in trouble and violating the wellness policy and the "E" killed his buzz (push) for a while.

Orton got bigger pops, was/is better on the mic, better in ring worker, and is pretty much more versatile in all facets that matter in wrestling.

No argument about RKO being the better all around talent. There really isn't anything I can think of that Batista does better than Orton.

Question is bigger not better. In the world of wrestling its clearly Orton. Outside of it, its clearly Batista. Tough choice when you look at it that way, cuz Orton barely edges Tista, and only wins the in wrestling argument because he never left to pursue movies n MMA like Batista did.

A very clear distinction between the two.

Batista is mostly known now because of GOTG, I haven't seen nor do I know anyone who has seen one of his MMA fights.

That said, back in 2005-2010 there really was no question that Batista was the bigger star.

Orton really came into his own during the Age of Orton and the "Viper" gimmick.

yea, i think this is pretty much right on, wouldnt be shocked if its documented that batista was a bigger draw and closer to cena than orton even tho orton has/had been number 2 for a long while, id say theres a pretty big distinction between the two in ring tho

Batistas MMA shit was a joke honestly but he's doing better in the movie world as of late.

I might go Batista as bigger even tho I preferred Orton at times.

The last Batista return didnt do him any favors and might gave ended up hurting his wrestling legacy a bit.
