I have a question for Eagles fans. What makes yall think Kolb is the QB of the future? I know he has played well in spot duty, but dude might be another one of those popular backup QB's who cant cut it once they are the man.

i aint a Eagle fan by any stretch...but if u watched him play you can see that hes gonna be a good QB at least....i aint sayin he'll get to McNabbs level, but he wont be some bumass nigga either at least i dont think so....and they have weapons already, im sure he knows the offense by now so its probably gonna be an easier transition than most people think...and then they'll still have Mike Vick for their wildcat sets

Yea ive seen him play and he looked good but from some of the things Ive read people act like he will get them over the hump. He might turn out to be that dude, but once he becomes the man they might also regret shipping McNabb, but I can understand them wanting to go ahead and get younger on the O.

Every once in a while, we develop a tipster who builds a track record of providing tips that end up being true.

And one of our latest tipsters who has been accurate with past tips (for the most part) has now given us a tip regarding the trade terms that possibly would send Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb to the Raiders.

Per the tip -- uncorroborated but nevertheless intriguing -- McNabb and cornerback Asante Samuel would go to Oakland, and cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha would go to Philadelphia.

We don't know whether an offer of this nature has been made. We suspect that the Eagles would, at a minimum, want to replace Samuel with Sheldon Brown.

Anyway, stay tuned. This is all uncorroborated, but we know that our friends in Philly are desperate for information, and that our friends in Oakland are desperate for hope.

my whole problem with this is, let the man play out his last year as an eagle.. because its clearly obvious they wont resign him next year and they'll go with kolb. so just let him finish the year

Thank you! I mean, he's at least earned this year off of his past 11 seasons. Damn, the city/organization has treated this cat like a purple-headed stepchild since Draft Day. That hurts, cuz I'm a die-hard Eagle fan and I've always felt he was and is the best QB in the history of the franchise.
