By legend, well thats a little bit arbutary. Pretty a rapper before 2007 who has had an impact on rap music and hiphop as a culture.
For me, I think Nas has this hands down. We are living in a world now were Nas, the very same dude that gave hiphop illmatic is seen as a looser. Seen as a looser by people who love hiphop.
Who yall thnk?
Disciplined InSight;1888233 said:People in the world are somewhat out of touch is reality and not supposed to go through shit because they're rich or in Nas case why that nigga going through so much shit? Easy answer: He's human just like you and everybody else. These cats see Nas as a loser because of his personal issues i.e. baby mama Carmen fucking his once-enemy Jay-Z, his business choices, falling out with QB comrades Cormega, Prodigy, his divorce with Kelis and him catching the short end of the stick with paying plenty of child support and alimony, then it's like well "Nas lost". But when they see Jay-Z or any other multi-millionaire, they see success because they're not going through the same shit. But the old saying "mo' money, mo' problems" will always ring true. Nobody really knows what personal issues Jay is going through because they weren't made public like Nas. But when artists like Beanie Sigel and former business partners like Dame Dash come bring some of Jay's personal shit in the light, then it's like "those niggas hating because Jay is successful..fuck 'em".
The point I'm making is that money and success doesn't make these dudes invulnerable. Just wanted to keep it 100.
But back on topic: KRS-One is probably the most less respected in this generation..they hate him with a passion.
