They dropped one of the best LP's of 97 and it's an under-rated Classic. But they didn't follow up that great LP, they took too much time off, had some label politics. I will forever have love for them cause "Uptown Saturday Night" was just one of those rap albums that had a feel to you that you always remember. Jay basically took their style on "Feelin It" from their original demo. Overall because of that debut album they will forever get props from me. That joint should of went Gold or Platinum easy.

I'm not sure where Camp Lo ranks among Hip Hop groups/duos. Their style was so unique and ahead of it's time that I'm not sure they can be ranked amongst or compared to any other group/duo.

^^^^^^^^^^Good post. I've always thought Camp Lo was a dope rap group, but they've would've gone so much further in their career if they were just normal dudes, and not try to act like 70's pimps.

well if they did all that and their only classic is Uptown Saturday Night, then I'm forced to just called it what it is...They one hit album wonders so now I just gotta be all the way real and say hell naw they aint no where near my top 10 or even 20.
