My biggest beef with Game was that he squandered his come up SMMFH. He literally had the red carpet rolled out for him, he was coming off the hype of G-Unit/50 Cent, he had Dr.Dre in his corner, Eminem reppin and 50 Cent carrying him. He did 6x platinum on his debut and was the only face of the West for THE longest time, plus he had the chance to establish G-Unit West (and if Black Wallstreet was what he wanted they could have done that too). All he had to do was keep dropping albums and establish relations with 50 Cent on a business tip. He had Eminem and Dr.Dre cosigning his whole movement and tossing him beats. After his second album all that shit went to waste and now Game is more of C level artist using mostly IG/social media to keep his name hot versus good music. He could have been the one to sign TDE/Kendrick Lamar WITH Dr.Dre if he wasn't so pigheaded SMMFH.

That's my biggest gripe with Game, he rules off impulse and then apologizes for it to keep the peace with the industry people b/c he's pigheaded and feisty. Game could have easily been on the same level as Kanye West, Jay-Z, Drake, Lil Wayne and guys like that if he played his cards like I said to. I low key believe that Game has regrets about that shit but was under the influence of Jimmy Henchmen (remember he was like 22 years old when he got on) and let him handle all his shit SMMFH.

So basically you wanted game to be fake and bow down to 50 in a slight hope 50 would throw him some bones?fuck that theres more to life than money and I'm sure game ain't starving.

If he had a problem with 50 cool, but he could have gone about it in a more professional manner and not burn a bridge the way he did. Fif and Jimmy Iovine and Dr.Dre didn't always see eye to eye but Fif still respected them and didn't burn that bridge until he was completely out of there. Game could have had it all and then some but he completely pissed it away and he doesn't have much to show for. You know it aint right when Tyga is the one handing him a chain.

You made some very solid points up until the 50 Cent shit. Again, the 50 shit is purely about his issues with Jimmy. They even got mad at Game for signing a management deal with Jimmy instead of Lighty & them just so they would eat more & have more control since 50 was with Lighty too. Plus we all know Game wasnt "G-Unit". He was Game who got put on G-Unit for marketing.

50 was the 1 one first called Game out on radio & shit & kicked him out of G-Unit for not going at various artist. I BELIEVE it was cuz Jimmy had some connection to those artist too since prior (Jada, Nas, Joe etc) & so when 50 wanted Game to go at them it was his attempt to publicly make Game go "against" Jimmy in a sense.

Plus, Game actually knew those cats. He knew Fat Joe from his own DJ being a Rican and being cool with Joe. Nas was one of his favorites & so was Jada. I think he met Jada years prior. Not sure about Nas tho.

But i disagree with that. But if you would've said "could've started everything even around Doctor's Advocate" THEN i'd fully agree. But him getting beats tossed at him and shit isnt quite accurate either. His only affiliation to Eminem was cuz of 50. Even before Doctors Advocate dropped he was removed from Interscope and they put him on the sub-label "Geffen", prolly cuz of 50 & the situation.

So to put it on Game is wrong. But i do agree that hes another wasted potential. And i fully agree with other dude who said "wasted bars on mixtapes". Mixtapes from 2004-2006/early 07 was his peak. Wasted too many going at G-Unit (a little too much) & just for free tapes.

I don't have him ranked. Game went from a wack rapper to a "meh" rapper throughout the years....and lets be real, production and his guest features were the highlights of his albums. He ain't fucking with 50 lyrically. Now if we're talking about name-dropping and impersonating other rappers, he got 50 beat
