Eric Sermon is dope

4,3,2,1 - LL Cool J
Reservoir Dogs - Jay-z
Symphony 2000 - EPMD
All of Redman's shit
How High (original and remix) - Meth and Redman
All of Keith Murrays shit
etc

Dude is definitely top 20, he definitely had a sound and could be one dimensional though,

Don't know exactly where I would rank him but he'd be in my top 20. If we talkin 90s late 80s producers he'd easily be top 10 if not 5. The Green Eyed Bandit is underrated forreal, as far as rappers/producers go and so is DJ Quik.

Erick is a top ten producer PERIOD and has produced for majority of the MC elite...if most of you don't know that by now, it's a shame for you to even listen to Hip Hop.

Erick Sermons beats are timeless and he helped revolutionize how other producers sampled songs. You can go back and listen to Strictly business and the beats still sound dope today. In fact, most of them have been lifted by other artists a few times over. And he is still making dope beats. The guy has been doing it for 22+ years and is still making dope beats. most producers cant say that.

Erick got a load of great tracks, can't knock him at all… he really had sampling down early and he's still doing it as others say, he's solid on the mic as well.

I'd say top 20.
