I can play all his albums straight without skipping, but my favourites are "Catch a Fire," "Uprising," and "Survival."

My favourite songs are "One Drop", "Africa Unite", "Concrete Jungle" , "Bad Card", "Mr. Brown", "Soul Rebel" and "Duppy Conquerer."

I think his sons are doing their things. Ziggy is doing the roots thing, I don't really connect with his music as much. Stephen is a great producer and "Mind Control" was a brilliant album. Damian is an excellent lyricist, has good delivery and flow, good singing, and his work with Stephen is great. Julian has some nice tunes, I thought "Awake" was a decent album. He's also pretty good on the instruments. Ky-Mani is on his gangster thing, he has some good tunes too.

Yes, I love pretty much all his albums too! I'd have to say I like Stephen and Ziggy the most out of the family. Bob made wonderful music my favorite songs are "War", "Burnin' and lootin", "Concrete Jungle","Ambush in the Night", and "Zion Train".

I personally feel there are alot better reggae artist than Bob, and his sons are living off his legacy. Ill take Peter Tosh, Dennis Brown, Garnett Silk, etc over Bob, but that's me though.

I agree that a lot of extremely talented reggae artists get overlooked because people assume that Bob Marley is the beginning and end of reggae. Still, his catalogue is the strongest and I feel that he's the best.

Dennis Brown maybe (although he lacked consistency), and respect to Peter Tosh, but he's not quite at Bob's level. Marley had a consistently good repetoire. Garnett Silk is amazing, but he's not even close.

I'd say Toots Hibbert is probably the only one who could compete.

My favorite "waiting in vain"!
Roots and Culture/Rockers brings chills to my soul. The music is so deep. I'm really feeling Richie Spice and Queen Ifrica!

So based on your avatar you are watching the world cup. Who are you going for in the upcoming match? Argentina & Mexico 2:15. Maradona must have a hard on right now.

Love everything in bob marley's catalogue. Even the acoustics. "Come rub it pon me belly like a guava jelly". Great musician.
