I used to be an avid record collector. I'd go to Manhattan about once a month to buy records. I'd spend about $50 every trip on Hip Hop, Rock and Soul records. I'd buy the Rock and Soul records for making beats and the Hip Hop records for DJing.

Well I made hundreds of beats so the Rock and Soul records were worth it.

The problem was all the Hip Hop records. I had everything; Jay Z, Nas, Pac, Public Enemy, Run DMC, Grandmaster Flash, Wu Tang, LL Cool J, DITC, Gang Starr, Ice T, NWA, No Limit, Cash Money, Busta, The Roots, Biggie, etc. I mean I had a serious record collection.

The problem is that DJs don't use records anymore. They use mp3s. So I was buying all these records with the intention of DJing when collecting mp3s would have been more practical. Eventually I fell on hard times and had to sell the record collection. Here's where it gets worse; records aren't liquid. So a record might be worth $10 or $15 on EBAY or discogs but you have to wait for a buyer, which can take months if not years. Eventually I put the records up for sale on Craig's list and got about 1/10th of what they were worth.

Buying a Xbox one elite then 3 months later they announce Xbox s and they are producing the Xbox one X what turns out to be the real console... For the same price that I paid for the elite

Sheeeeeit.

I bought a Nautica watch for about $150 at a a Sears closing clearance sale ( All sales final no refunds or exchange ), then walked across the mall to a different dept store, saw a way better looking Nautica watch for the same damn price.

.....This gonna sound weak by comparison to some of y'all stories, but i feel dumb the times I buy lunch at work, when if i just took the time I coulda made my own damn lunch & saved the $bread.

About 2k for some off road tires for my truck. Gas went up and I don't even off road like that anymore smh

Mud or All-Terrain?

Mud. My boys and I used to mud ride back in the Sipp when we were younger and I enjoyed that shit. Always said when I got a truck I'd do the same so that's why I bought the tires. I don't even have time to do that shit anymore, and being here in the A, I gotta drive a lil ways out to the country to even do some real off road driving. I wasted my money. I'm gonna get the all terrains next time tho

Used to fuck with Rock n Soul back in the day too, and the shit that used to be downtown BK too - beat street or some shit. Still got crates of shit.

Bought all new casebooks my first semester 1L year. It was about $870. After the first week of classes, I realized I could have bought old editions or rented the same books and saved about $600...

I spent $11.80 at the waffle house 2 hours ago and im already hungry again

Me the last time I ate fast food, that $10 don't stretch like it does at the store. I don't how niggas can eat out all the time like that.

Besides the one in the Avi, another Diamond Pinky ring. Looked banging under the store lights. Got outside that muhfuka hit like Police Siren lights and rainbows! Irony is I keep my hand in my pocket 60% of the time now. Glad I got it but it attracts 2 much attention. Just keep it in the box now.
