also it took me 5 years to find something i could consider a career, once i graduated college. kinda fucked up my life plans but its working itself out. it isn't in my field but i enjoy it.

That is a long time, hopefully it doesn't take me that long to find something. I feel like a lot of people end up doing something outside their major. I hope I find something journalism related if not then it is what it is.
