When Christians say they are " highly favored" what does that mean

The phrase "highly favored" comes from the mouth of the angel Gabriel, when he appeared to the virgin mary and announced the Lords favor on her for being the one who would birth the messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ.

I'm pretty sure God made us uniquely different with different minds, mentalities and purposes and gave us the opportunity to have freewill so we're not machines and our relationship that we have in Christ is a religion which makes us religious/spiritual beings but again, you have freewill so you should be able to separate your relationship with Christ from your relationship with your family, work and the world. That's all I'm saying, if you have one thing dominating a majority of your life, that just makes you a square so have balance in your life bruh.

I think it's simply because we live in America, and Christianity happens to be the dominant religion in America, thus the one we are most familiar with.
