Yes, and ADD is a subtype of ADHD and it was still a clinical term used last year unless it has been phased out or is in the process of being phased out it is still one as far as I know.

Most textbooks have already phased it out, so all new doctors will probably only recognize ADHD.

But the DSM is always prone to change based on the politics of the time, so who the fuck knows in the future.

why do people make exceptions for abortion? if you don't think an innocent life should be taken in the womb why does it matter how it was conceived? is the child who's the product of rape or has abnormalities less important/more disposable than a child conceived with consent? keep it consistent.
Cosign.

If abortion is "wrong" because it kills something that can potentially be born as a child, whether that potential child was a product of rape or consensual sex would be inconsequential.

The reasoning makes no sense:

"I was a victim of a crime, so I am allowed to kill this person who was not the one that victimized me."

VS

"I wasn't a victim of a crime, so I am not allowed to kill this person who was not the one that victimized me."

Plus, rape is vague as fuck, it could also refer to consensual drunk sex or consensual underage sex.

You should be able to kill them all, rape or not.

Planned Parenthood is a fucking joke and nothing more than a population control agency.

lol, wtf? where do you get this stuff?

planned parenthood is often the only resource for indigent communities as far as any type of health care goes

Here is a factual statement: Planned Parenthood’s abortion care represents 3 percent of its medical services — 332,000 terminations out of a total of 11.4 million services provided in 2009. Nearly all the care offered at Planned Parenthood health centers is preventive services and screenings, including contraception, testing for sexually transmitted infections, pap smears and breast exams.

Title X funds cannot be used for abortion care at any time, for any reason. Federal Medicaid funds can be used to reimburse a provider for an abortion when the pregnancy would endanger the life of the woman or resulted from rape or incest.

Women spend about five years either being pregnant or trying to get pregnant, and about 30 years trying not to get pregnant; the Guttmacher Institute estimates that half of the country’s unintended pregnancies end in abortion. If Pence wants to prevent abortions, he should lead the charge to triple Title X funding.

Instead, Pence has voted to eliminate Title X, and he has no answer for where the 5.2 million people served by that program would get care. Planned Parenthood centers offer contraception to nearly 2.5 million patients a year and serves 36 percent of all Title X patients.

Barring Planned Parenthood from participating in federal programs would lead to less access to birth control, more unintended pregnancies and more abortions.

So you just merely reiterated someone else's opinion instead of generating your own opinion?

Like PP is the first, last and only access to birth control. That's retarded

African genocide: Planned Parenthood to ramp up African ‘abortion services’ by 82%

by Peter Baklinski

AFRICA, January 25, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) – To “improve the quality of life of individuals,” the International Planned Parenthood Federation’s (IPPF) strategic plan for Africa in the next three years includes an “82% increase in abortion services.” By 2013, the African region of IPPF plans to perform 212,021 abortion services, and by 2015, they want that number to increase to 273,656.

The IPPF 2010 Strategic Plan calls for “increased access” to “abortion services” for African women.

Paul Bell, senior communication officer with IPPF based in the United Kingdom, told CNSNews’ Penny Starr that “IPPF does not seek to ‘increase’ the number of abortions,” arguing that on a global level, IPPF’s abortion services “account for less than 2% of our overall work.”

However, Rita Diller, National Director for American Life League’s Stop Planned Parenthood International told LifeSiteNews that IPPF’s use of the phrase “abortion services” is deceptive. Diller said that IPPF labels every single aspect of a woman’s visit to Planned Parenthood as a separate “service,” allowing them to downplay their abortion numbers.

“All the ‘services’ Bell mentions that relate to abortion would likely be a part of a single visit, which would include the abortion procedure,” she said. “But if you break out all the different parts of the encounter and claim it as a separate ‘service,’ the abortion numbers become diluted and the public can be deceived.”

Diller believes that Planned Parenthood is simply “playing with numbers” so as to hide their real agenda of increasing the number of African babies killed through abortion.

“Bell’s statement that abortion comprises only 2% of IPPF’s ‘overall work’ is intentionally misleading, intended to distract attention from its abortion-centered business model so that it can continue to wipe out the population of the continent of Africa,” she said.

Abby Johnson, former director of a Planned Parenthood clinic in the U.S., agrees with Diller.

“IPPF is only interested in spreading abortion to every country where abortion is illegal. That is their main focus…it is really their only focus,” Johnson told LifeSiteNews. Johnson left the abortion industry in 2009 after participation in an ultrasound-guided abortion in which she came to recognize the humanity of the baby.

“How can they say they want to increase their abortion services by 82% and then say they don’t want to increase their abortion services? They made their agenda clear in their strategic plan. They are only trying to ‘clarify’ what they said because they do not want their lie to be exposed,” she said.

According to IPPF’s Annual Performance Report for 2010, 1,549,119 abortion-related services were provided globally, with 34% of those services consisting in “surgical/medical abortion,” amounting to more than a half of a million abortions.

I see two sides going back and forth, but does the babies/future babies get a say in all this? Considering the fact that we are talking about preventing babies from being born. Just asking to see where you guy's and ladie's heads are at.

No and thats where the lines blur. I'm all for giving the mother and father choice in the matter but at the same time, the baby doesn't have a say. Yes it can be argued that death would be better compared to a possible terrible life for the child. But still its life. So I'm often torn between two.

It's a tough decision

For a lot of women it is. If you don't have health insurance, where else do you go?

So you're telling me there was no other avenue before Bill Gates and his wife set up PP? How were they doing it before?

The thing is, the parents had many choices to prevent it from getting to that point( birth control pills and condoms) so should future life be taken for the sake of the parent's negligence just to avert their consequences of raising a future child?

No. But we must note that the parents decided to relinquish their responsibility. Should we make the child suffer in such an environment? And if abortion is not an answer and they consider adoption, what effect could this have on the child? What is worst? To give the child death before his actual existence or to give the child existence without meaning and/or fulfillment?
