To me, the first things I hear when I listen to him are his song writing ability and his flow(dude's a real skilled spitter). His style borders on pop influence ( kinda like B.o.B at times IMO) and that's why I feel alot of people are turned off from him. I do feel that he has become more successful than he would have been if he wasn't white, but I don't put that blame on him. He's a very honest MC that puts alot of time into his lyrical ability and I respect that. He's not for everyone and I understand that. That's just my opinion.

Give me one good reason why anyone who is white should not be in hip hop? you sound like crakkas not wanting niggas in baseball. I have no issue with anybody of any race being in hip hop. To me we can't have an entire genre about fighting the power and pointing out injustice then trina be on our KKK excluding whites from the genre entirely.

Whites didn't fuck up hip hop overall greed did. Overall greed fucks up everything. I went to south africa in 2007 and black leaders were doing some of the same corrupt governmental shit whites did during apartheid. They were allowing people to kill and rape women who were lesbian and killing gay men. Cops knew about it and didn't charge people.

Take that to hip hop and you find the core issue which is greed. Birdman is the one now not paying black rappers like lil wayne. Black artists are the ones lowering the bar and not challenging the artform. Moguls like Diddy and Suge also fucked up the culture and hustled the culture for money.
