What's wrong with being a freemason?

I've just accepted the fact that I will never know the truth about it. It's like you can only stomach so much hearsay until it forces you to try to find out the truth. But the only real way to know is through first hand experience, and I'm not for it.

Maybe I'm missing out on something enlightening, or maybe not. I'll just continue down my personal spiritual journey and possibly the truth will be revealed while still in this existence.

Gawd damn finally someone with some truth..

Although the Shriner and Prince Hall pieces are off.

I've never understood this attitude that a lot of you have on here. Like y'all won't go into detail about what folks should know, but you expect them to know something they obviously wouldn't. Insult them when they don't and then get on some bullshit not telling them anyway.

Just put up or shut up.

Say homie, I didnt see a question posed. So if there is something you want to know, ask. As a matter of fact, I actually said in this thread, if you want to know more, sit down and talk with one.

So you didn't see the thread title?

Hey, secret societies are secret for a reason right? You want to be all elusive with it that's your business.

I'm just pointing this and other similar responses I've seen out. They're pointless and just add to the confusion.

How am I being elusive when I have clear instructions on how to find the answer to his question? Again, if you want to really know more, find someone you trust and sit down with them. That's the answer. Is there something specific you want to know?

idk, but i know a lot of people that are one. It's good for connects. I don't fuck with secret organisations though. We in the age of the internet. All that not sharing the wisdom shit is corny..

let me say something about this. i kind of agree that knowledge shouldn't be kept secret, but then the people who hold the knowledge always say if its given to the wrong people complete world destruction will follow. then they say when the student is ready the teacher will appear, but i dont know if its always true. the world is pretty messed up as it is so i don't know what much worse can happen

personally i think the way the golden dawn did it struck a better balance: have a outer order for people who are developing an interest in occult knowledge and have positive intentions... and then have the inner order for people who have proven that they aren't malicious and have passed the tests to show they're worthy. It's not perfect but it might be better than the two extremes of knowledge being kept extremely secret or carelessly given out.

I see your argument but the thing is PEOPLE ARE STUPID. humans have a pack mentality

Roots usually happen cause one person does something and others follow

What if the government said right now they made up Christianity and god isn't real?

Christians everywhere would lose there minds

Salem witch trails is a perfect example of being afraid of the unknown and fear taking hold.

You don't just drop life shattering/changing facts on a mass of people and think shit will go smoothly do u

I've heard that all freemasons really do is retain knowledge of history. It sounds like it might be interesting if there's some shit in there that you can't get from anywhere else. After I amass all of the information on the know and unknown internet I might give it a shot.

I know everything just ask me.

What degree mason are you @"major pain1"

There is no degree higher than the 3rd. The others are ancillary or supplemental. I have many other degrees along with the 3rd.

Some will say this is an elusive type of answer but the truth of the matter is what you're likely counting as a degree only applies to the Scottish Rite (32nd, 33rd etc.) but that is not the hierarchy of Freemasonry nor does it denote 'rank'.

I gotta question tho if you can answer it. Are the rituals or reenactments based on or similar to ancient initiation rituals of older religious systems?

No. There wasn't anything I wanted to ask.

None that I'm aware of. They are meant to teach the candidate lessons for life.

I don't fuck w/ it.I'm sure I already know what they think they do.

My grandfather was a mason and quit because he said it was crooked and told me not to fuck w/ it.

I am a top member of the Illuminati though.

Basic principles that I can't support. For example, secret meetings, secret handshakes, code words w/ double meanings etc. If anything is truth it don't need a double meaning. Only lies can be interpreted more than one way
