See this is what separates us as a species. Y'all really have no interest in that shit. Oprah said on her show once that she and Stedman were close to this married couple. Stedman was on the golf course with the guy earlier in the day. Stedman gets home and tells Oprah "Oh yea Mark and Susie are getting a divorce. Susie is leaving him for a woman." So Oprah start asking Stedman a million questions... "Omg, are you serious? Who is the woman? How did he find out? Do their kids know? Did she move out? How did she meet the woman?" Stedman goes "I don't know. I didn't ask."

Oprah said she was astonished but she really understood how different men and women are that day. This nigga didn't ask not one follow up question when his friend told him "my wife is divorcing me for a woman." I would have gotten all the fuckin tea. That is such an interesting concept to me in terms of how we are wired. I would have had a 3 pages of notes to report back if my friend tell me some shit like that.

I guess. I don't really care for details like that

Well women are more expressive, in general. So we couldn't fathom anyone sharing a detail like "my spouse left me for their gay lover" if they had no intention of elaborating. If I mention "Yea my husband left me for a man," I'm already on the road to following up with "Yea girl, I saw "fat cocks" in his Google search history so I followed him to work and this nigga stopped at a hotel and came out wearing assless chaps holding hands with some dude that looked like Richard Simmons." Our brains can't even compute that someone wouldn't have more to say about something so salacious. It would be like learning that a teenager died or something and not asking how.

My worst habit is overanalyzing shit and seeing things that ain't there. My man could say that he's thirsty and wants a glass of water and I will call all of my friends trying to dissect precisely what he meant by the word "thirsty" and what he could have really meant by saying "glass" instead of "cup". By the time I'm done, I'll have it figured out that by thirst he was talking about a deep inner soul longing that can only be filled by the love of another woman who is independent and whole and knows what she needs and that is why he needed a glass which was actually a metaphor for the self reflection required of him which will allow him to see the attributes of that woman clearly in order to decipher whether she is the one who could fulfill his needs as a life-long partner in holy matrimony.

Meanwhile... this nigga be just wanting a beverage and I've already broken up with him in my mind because I deserve better than someone who doesn't see me as whole already.

So basically he could fuck your whole world if simply by saying "We need to talk"

Complaining about the food at my favorite spots. You be eating there for years, they know your face, know your beer, no problems, great food. Then suddenly some new chick the one that need to see the manager.
