Tumblr is cool just because of the ease it makes in finding cool/interesting pictures.

Instagram if anything is a fuckin badass photo editor that makes it easy to apply those pretentious photo filters that make your pictures 1000x better.

Someone sent me a text inviting me to "Voxer" the other day. I have no idea what it is, so I ignored it. I've heard of Tumblr, but am not familiar. Instagram, I've never heard of.

Ok so I dont use any of them but I've been invited to try all. From my understanding:

Voxer: Its like instant voicemail. I record a message, send it to you, you send it back. [If thats what it is, sounds dumb]

Tumblr: Basically a blog composed of a bunch of random a** pics. Just random pics you find cool.

Instagram: An app that filters your pics to make them all look artsy. But now you can create an Instagram account have have people just look at photos of you all day. smh.

I have a facebook and twitter and I rarely go on either of them. Facebook was big to me when it first came out since I could connect with my college friends but twitter is just pointless to me unless it's giving me updates on world events.

I don't do it but this is what my understanding is:

Some people like the brevity of a text message.

Some people like talking on the phone.

This is like a happy medium. You get the 'i get to actually hear your voice' appeal of talking on the phone, but the 'i get to respond when i want' appeal of text messaging.

Kinda makes sense I guess...
