if u dont think QB is the most important position in sports u are crazy. They do more studying than any other position in any sport. They gotta know thousands of plays and be able to recall them at moments notice. Qb's come to the line of scrimmage with the play but may have to audible according to the defense. Although that defense will change after the snap they have to know where they are going with the ball within 3-4 seconds. O i almost 4got take this hit from the rush off the edge from Demarcus Ware that could possibly Joe Theisman ur career....CLOSE THREAD

Brad Johnson

But naw the answer is soccer goalie. So few goals are scored in soccer that letting one go by is a wrap. Look how many games end 0-0, 1-0, 1,1, 2-1. And they help tell defenders what needs to be done on the field. Also, in things like the world cup, if it's a tie it goes to a 1 on 1 shoot out between a player and the keeper. Similar in hockey, but they allow more goals.

hockey also combines a much smaller area of play with a smaller object and more shots...I'd think that being a hockey goalie would be more challenging...

Ya, but the hockey goal is much much smaller than a soccer goal. It's 4 ft high by 6 feet wide. The goalie covers a majority of the goal just by standing there. A soccer goal is 24 feet wide and 8 feet high. That's a big ass space to cover. Cuz of the size difference every hockey shot is blockable. There are a lot of untouchable soccer shots.

And soccer goalies are responsible to do more. They have to decide when to come out of goal, when to stay in, how to set up their wall on free kicks, etc.
