son doesnt even have an album out an he has a thread about him...seems like he doin something right. Kiss knows his audience and he makes music for them..and still dabbles in pop every now and then. He dont need a classic under his belt to be considered a legend...look at his influence. dudes stay biting kiss' flow. for a couple years straight, every eastcoast mixtape rapper bit that nigga whole flow. Fabolous owe that nigga a check..banks owe that nigga a check...Red Cafe owe that nigga check...Rick Ross owe that nigga check...etc

and i dont get what so bad about his albums? When you buy a kiss album you should already know what you are gonna get...if you dont know that by now then stop buying the album....shit half yall niggas complaing about stuff and yall dont even buy nothin!!!lol stop being cheap!

I made that mistake of buying Kiss tha Game Goodbye thinking he was the second coming of BIG. But Jada seems to inspire niggaz to become underachievers, if you think about it.

-Ma$e ain't doing nothing big musically.
-Fab done nothing groundbreaking.
-Banks ain't do nothing groundbreaking
-Red Cafe

and so on. Its like these niggaz like being sub par in their careers and not to strive to be better than their predecessors.

Jada don't have a lot of money (but true fans don't care about a rapper's pocket, which I respect) NOR dropped a universal classic album. I mean, if your goal is not to make a musically groundbreaking album, then what is the point of being an MC?

Rakim Has classic albums
Nas has classic albums
Run DMC has classic albums
Public Enemy has classic albums
NWA debut is a classic
Ice Cube has classic albums
Jay has classic albums
Big has classic albums
Pac has classic albums
Wu Tang has classic albums
ATCQ has classic albums

No at the bolded. Jadakiss definitely does not make music for his audience at all. His mixtapes and freestyles are 20 times better than his albums. Also, you obviously need a classic album to be considered a legend. How are you going to be damn near 20 years in the game with no classic albums? He should be embarrassed.

i give jadakiss some credit, those songs that were left off his first album due to bootlegging were classic material, the album ended up being watered down but between the classic tracks that were on the album and the tracks left off he potentially could of dropped a classic, this is one of them right here

Jada is a lower end Mainstream Artist, Styles is a Higher Up INDEPENDENT Artist.

Why? Because Kiss isn't dropping records on Koch or E1 yet? Because we all know that's coming....

Styles P is still growing as an artist while Jada isn't.

Jada grew on Kiss of Death when he started spitting more personal and socially aware rhymes, but Styles was already doing that on Gangsta and a Gentlemen. Styles growth has been in terms of delivery and VOICE.....he used to rap in a sorta low-key voice...remember that? Now he sounds like a even-more-pissed-off Chuck D and its just so fucking awesome that if a nigga don't like it i hope they die horribly srsly.

Styles P actually take time out to construct an actual ALBUM and not a Formula Album an actual Album.

Styles hasn't made a *CLASSIC* album either.....

Plus Styles still hungry and Jada isnt.

More prolific you mean. Let's keep it real, Styles has always had like 5x the output Kiss do. Styles did HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of classic freestyles last decade. You'd prolly need 30 CDs to hold them all. Kiss NEVER spit that damn much.

- I never been able to listen to any post '05 Banks. What the FUCK happened to his voice?
- Red Cafe was, is, and shall always be A WACK RAPPER that just happens to be really really good at convincing labels and superproducers to shower him with money and dope beats for some reason.

You shoulda put Cassidy on that list. IMHO, Cassidy is the ULTIMATE example of the Underachieving Mixtape Punchline Rapper because he just never ever saves his best (or shit, even GOOD) punchlines for the album. Ever. He was on Hot 97 spitting MOLTEN LAVA for 10 minutes straight right before his 1st album came out. That session alone had more dope lines than his debut album.

You know what Mixtape Punchline Rapper DID evolve into a real MC that makes deep songs and great albums?

Joe Budden.

LOL Forgot about Cassidy. I mean, all of them niggaz are just underachievers. Crazy how all of them have so much talent and not one of them ever stepped up to be the next BIG. Even Budden, despite the classic MM series, has the same mentality as these niggas. That's why I moved on from that, and I was a big fan of punchline rap from 99-06.

Jadakiss is not dope at all.

What is he then? Wack? Cuz he's called himself "Top 5 Dead or Alive" often enough and nobody has checked him for this "undeserved arrogance" either in the industry or on forums like this. In fact, I would say Jadakiss is one of the least "hated on" rappers by fans that is still fairly active right now.
