Court-martialed, Leavenworth, dishonorable discharge are what you could expect from not following the ROE.

Yeah, there a lot of soldiers that become police officers, but the rules that govern them are a lot less stringent. More open for interpretation and based on feelings and stupid shit. Doesnt work like that in the military. It's, "You break these rules in any fashion, your reasons be damned, and that's your ass."

So what you have now is the militarization of police without the military's rules in place; basically giving police carte blanche.
