There is no coming back in rap, the game is fad-ish, once the perception that you fell off comes to play your done. The newness of DMX and Ruffryders is over, there is no rediscovering. These young kids don't know what a DMX or Eve is, their trendy ass is on Drake and Nicki's dicks.

didnt know cassidy was a ruff ryder....but yeah they did go harder....shit that actually look like it could happen....jada was already talkin bout some new lox shit....i dont see swizzie fuckin wit them niggas but everybody else is still around somewhere.....

Cassidy was RR?

Yep all his albums back then dropped on Double-R but he was the only Philly dude on the label so he really didn't roll with them agonists cats....that was Swizz boy till they fell out and Cassidy started getting murder charges.

children r not the only ppl who purchase hip hop music... we obviously know who the RR are...

ppl don't turn 28 and stop buying music... the problem will be their unwillingness to identify and cater to their actual demographic...

The point i am making is not even dudes old fans follow him now, a lot of his fans have outgrown him since he came on his scene.

DMX should get back in the lab with Dame Grease, PK Killer Tracks, Swizz Beats and Irv Gotti...make the shit hes known for.

I'm not tryna hear anymore of swizz's production. He ran out of ideas in 04

you a hater, b

give swizz a casio, a synthesizer, throw a whistle on top of that shit and you got a hit

all that's missing is a nigga sayin "GO GO GO GO GO GO! IT'S SHOW TIME!"

X Wild Self

People need to recognize that once the industry is done with you, they are done with you. Meek Millz has a better chance than X to spark a street movement.
