I wasn't gonna add 2011, but this year was filled with disappointments, especially since these albums were hyped up since last year... Lasers, Rolling Papers, Cole World, C4, etc. I mean, the underground had some gems, but you'd think that the mainstream would have at least a few above average albums. Even 2000 had Dynasty and MMLP.

06 was bad wit the snap movement but it was still some quality music I think u should replace 2011 wit 09 wit tracks like stanky leg, ay bay bay, swag surfin nd a bunch of other shit that was a horrible year

F&L, Fishscale, Blue Carpet, Doctor's Advocate, and if you're into DOOM, DangerDOOM came out. But yeah, the wack shit definitely outweighed the good shit, and caused some considerable damage in the long run.
BTW, those saying 04, state your case. It wasn't a bad year, CD and Documentary came out that year.

Forgot about those. I'm still mixed on HHID, Nas was too preachy and the production was doo doo. Wasn't a fan of POM.

yea i feel u but u should include 09 when Relapse and BP3 nd before I self distruct are the highest sellers it wasnt a great year nd thats excluding all the 1 hit wonder dance tracks i'm really on the fence between 06 nd 09 man lls

You got a good point. Now that I think of it, 09 didn't have much. It was full of mediocrity, with a few one hit wonder tracks scattered here and there. But at the same time, Swag Surfin is nowhere near as bad as Laffy Taffy. 06 birthed the era of shitty dance tracks. Nothing really bad happened in 09... in fact, nothing happened at all.

oh lawd dont remind me of Laffy Taffy i was in 8th grade when tht came out nd u couldnt even ignore tht song it was everywhere shit i would turn everytime Fabo's first line would come up it was a few songs so bad tht it was funny like Tatted Up by this other group fabo was wit. While Laffy Taffy was bad it wasnt the most annoying song out that goes to We Fly High niggaz was sayin "BALLIN" everywhere it aint matter wat u did or where u was at shit was annoying

2009- there was literally nothing exciting that came out this year besides so far gone and the warm up, and those were MIXTAPES.
2004-This was a slow year as well. the only thing rememerable that came out that year was Colleg Dropout. i remember lil jon annoyin the shit out of me that year

2003 was when hip hop started to slowly move in the direction it's currently in. 2006 was when the nail was in the coffin when the digital era started to take over and when lil wayne was deemed the best rapper alvie.
