Lowest I've been is having to get my parents to help me out with rent and bills when my son was a baby and I lost my job for about 6 months.

Thankful for my family and fortunate that they are always able to help me when I need it

You would never know the amount of wealth people like my dad and grandpa have. My grandpa passed but when he was alive he was soooo wise with his money. Our family business has been around for over 80 years.

They both wear/wore shorts from Walmart and shoes from Academy And would buy 2-3 pairs at a time . Shop at Costco etc...you know you spend money to make money. Had nice homes. They drive/drove nice but not flashy cars My dad loves a good deal....which is why he is so successful.

Grandpa ran our family business till he no longer wanted to work and my dad retired at age 50.

Both when asked "how are you doing " ...I'm living the dream was always their reply

... aiight she was like 5'2" and 350lbs and worked at the McDonalds across the tracks from my apartment. I had enough money for a large fries and a water cup and a 'gra was HONGRY. I didn't necessarily lie to her 'cause she did have a cute face, but... um... yeah. I gave her my phone number (disconnected for the last 2 months) and lied about which apartment complex I lived in. Told her she could fall through and I'd cook dinner for her if she hooked a bruh up 'cause I was between paychecks. For the price of a large fries and water I got 3 Big Macs, 5 large fries, two double quarter pounders, a few double cheeseburgers, and some pies.

I wasn't between paychecks, I was between jobs. I was working as a temp in the AP dept at Borders corporate HQ and was done for the moment and was on my 2nd week waiting for the callback to go back in there. Broke as shit, I had already gotten a loan on my sampler and keyboard from a pawn shop and paid bills with that money but barely had money to put food in the fridge.
