Massive Attack. Hottest beat of the year. Most creative track of the year. Nicki Minaj is so talented. Its a damn shame a beautiful black queen like her gotta carry NY on her back while Jay Z punk ass sucking Chicago dick trying to do a joint album. SMH

This got to be a muthafukkin joke.......smh

I would say that Kanye and the Good Friday concept defines 2010.........he kept it all the way hiphop while engaging fans on a weekly basis.

I would also say Drake going platnuim was a defining moment.

Weezy going gold with 2 albums that had no promo whilst being locked up shows how relevent he is in 2010 and he will have another platnuim album with Carter 4.

Ross was a winner this year with BMF & Aston Martin music.

CM/YM emerging this year as heavyweights defines 2010.

i hate to admit it but teflon don may be the album that defines 2010 for better or worse. plus kanye may have started a trend with his g.o.o.d friday series his album is another one that may define this year

I cant say Yezzy because it came out in Nov and Ross was September(i Think)but at least Ross had singles early out. I will say Thank Me Later is the winner due to the fact Drake had a CD of songs already out. Who else is out there out there other than Drake, Nikki, Yezzy, and Ross this year?

Well due to the question that was my answer but as far as the Album of the Year to me is Kanye and Teflon Don is a close second. It was like nobody had an entire album I could listen to entirely.

"Teflon Don" defined the year 2010.

"B.M.F" was the street single of the year and the song of the summer and now at the end of the year "Aston Martin Music" is the #1 rap song in the country.

No other album this year dominated the streets and the radio the way "Teflon Don" has.

"Superhigh", "B.M.F" and "Aston Martin Music" were released in succession with each song charting higher than the previous one which gave the album the momentum to reach Gold certification in about five months (June 20th- November 10th).

The album brought M.C. Hammer out of retirement, served as an appetizer for Cee-Lo's grammy nominated "Fuck You" and gave JayZ a platform to address all the illuminati/satanism accusations.

Rozay's "Teflon Don" was a defining album for the M.V.P of 2010
