Someone was telling me if you wet around the the inside and wear it constantly it will shrink or stretch to the size of what you generally wear.

color permitting get the authentic joints. that'll solve the shrinking problem especially. the stretching is usually done by hand if it happens.

i had a black n yellow yankee fitted shrink on me.. i got caught in the rain and got soaked, hung my hat up in the shower. went to sleep and it was a 7 3/8, woke up n it was a 6 7/8 lol. i threw that bitch out man.

lol. i knw the feelin. i bought a new blue yankee summer 08 and that bitch shrunk in like 3 from all the sweat on the headband part...it gets hot as hell down here. after that i started exclusively buying the authentic joints and havent had a problem since.

well depending on the degree of wetness it being authentic mite not matter. i had all white yankee and when use to handwash it i would put it on metal can to dry. it helped keep the form and all...never shrunk a bit.
