Nobody has mentioned Blues yet

I think it's a good mix. In fact, rap, especially in the south, and the blues have so many similarities because of their roots that they often get muddled. UGK, Outkast and Scarface use a lot of blues in their music.

This was my joint

I thnk all music is compatible just in terms of how production is so digital so its nothing to sample, but technically...

Probably classical music, waltz and stuff like ragtime... The time signatures in those genres in different than that of hip hop, which pretty much is standard in all pop music today...

Also when raggaeton is mixed with hip hop it usually just become reggaeton... not really compatible.

Neither of those videos were ragtime tho...

And semi-sign on reggaeton+hip-hop. There have been some successful blends. Tego does it well.

I'd say he manages to balance them both pretty well in songs like this.

One type of blend I have yet to hear a good song from is a mix of hip-hop and death metal, so for now, I'll say death metal is the least compatible..

I can't really remember a ragtime sample off the head right now, but I know they exist. I myself chopped up some crazy shit in my beats. And Em had a few beats with a ragtime swing to it. Again, can't really remember it. And death metal is relatively new, but it's only a matter of time before hip hop crosses that line to, judging by Public Enemy working with Anthrax, or or Busta working with Ozzy. Not death metal per se, but you get the picture.
