so what do yall think the hardest postion in sports to play is.

i believe that baseball takes the most skill to play. anyone can pick up a ball and go to the gym and ball. shit how many niggaz u know who are dumb as fuck but can ball their ass off? its just athletic talent taken over. but baseball is a true skill either u have it or u dont

A true skill is not something you either have or don't. Skills are something you have to refine and work out. Athleticism is god given, something you either you have or you don't.

1a. Baseball - Pitcher
1b. Baseball - Hitter
1c. Baseball - Catcher
2. Basketball
3. Football (any and all positions including Kicker)
4. Soccer

overall a pro Catcher or Pitcher that is also a good hitter is the most skillful position in all of sports shout out to Babe Ruth

Hockey...learning how to power skate forward, backwards, sideways, handling a puck, passing a puck, shooting a puck all on the most unpredictable surface a sport could be played on ICE!

this is obvious and any reasonably intelligent person knows this, reason why T/S didn't include Hockey in the initial question posed in this thread.

i could agree with this..it seems who ever invented hockey said "Hmm..how can we make this sport as difficult as possible? oh i know...add ice." lol

Football is pretty easy

It takes tons of years of playing to be good at basketball

Soccer is hard as shit

I suck at baseball so its hard to me but its alot of players thats good at baseball that I wouldnt even call athletes

I've played soccer for 17 years and yeah, that shit is difficult because not just anyone can get out there and kick and dribble a ball around. Even if you're athletic, it won't mean nothing if you don't have mechanics to be crafty enough with that ball and be able to go up and down that field for 45 mins each half. I played on club teams in Oklahoma so I was able to excel on that level of being an all-state player, but it's no joke. It takes years to learn how to be in position, have endurance, and be able to take headers and slide tackles.

Boxing or MMA but since those are sports you can't" play" I'll say soccer

People won't understand the amount of tecehnique involved in combat sports if they've never done them. Plain and simple.
