My son is 3 he will listen to anything I do I know he likes chance the rapper in particular, but I can see why he would appeal to kids tho niggas sounds like a muppet
I try to listen to more Conscious soulful music around them I won't like if it's just me and my son home the chronic or something of that ilk will get played a little bit
I'll let my kids listen to whatever the fuck they want, but I will sit with them and listen to it with them. Ask them why they like the music, what they think its about, and explain to them what the song is really about. Talk to them and let them know a lot of this shit is just entertainment. Hopefully I can raise them to have diverse taste in rap(and music in general) like I do. Hopefully I can get them to appreciate the ATCQ's, Nas', Biggie's and their modern counterparts, while having no problem listening to their lil b's chief keefs, gucci's. Basically I hope I can raise them to have a balance.
