there just taking offense to what alot of people precieve to be an immoral way of life...if someone took offense to the way u were u would take offense too...its a natural human reaction....doesnt bother me as long as they dont compare there plight with others

chuuuuuch. Personally i dont think homosexuality is right but im not gonna bash them for liking the penis. But when my friend is acting like a little bitch, i will compare him to a stereotypical gay person that prances around in glitter and what not.

don't understand why people, straight or gay, would wana get married somewhere they're clearly not wanted. i'm not takin my black ass to a kkk meeting ever and forcing them to let me in and not kill me while i'm there isn't gonna make the experience more enjoyable.

the oppression against gay people is the longest running injustice on this planet.. Leviticus issued a death warrant 3400 years ago with "Let blood be upon his head, he that lay with another man as male & females lay together".. so pardon us if we come across a bit fed up with the socially accepted bigotry that certain minority groups fought to over come.. but from this perspective, in the last century, we just watched women & african americans struggle through the freedumb gate only to turn & slam the bitch closed behind them...

entitled??? hardly... we just want what our tax money & the constitution says is owed to us. no more & no less.

its not an issue of rubbing people the wrong way.. i've been with my dude for 13 years now & if he was in a horrible car crash tomorrow & was on the verge of death, they wouldn't allow me into the ICU to say goodbye to the love of my life because we're not considered family.. we're forced to set up corporations to protect our assets so in the event of one of our deaths, the others family can't swoop in & lay claim to the deceased's property.. we just want what yall got.. that seems to strike a nerve though, huh? i see ya.

we obviously aren't all created the same but now that we're standing up & pointing out the fact, other minority groups fresh to civil equality they damn selves are telling us to shut up & sit down..

this can't be life.

I think you're getting confused fam. I'm not disputing your right to get married. What I'm disputing is your right to force a church to play party to your wedding.

Can't say I disagree with that. Seeing as how there were probably hundreds of churches that wouldn't marry interracial couples back in the day (among other things).

drama.. lol. we can't force anything.. the vote has to pass... but i'm certain the sentence in bold above is what some white folks thought about the integration of public schools & the appeal of laws forbidding inter-racial marriages since the 1967 Supreme Court decision that deemed anti-miscegenation laws unconstitutional.. i can hear it now how blacks were forcing their lifestyle onto the rest of the civilized nation.. pardon me for saying but the politicians rely on church going folks constituency to remain employed so this entails that in fact, there is no separation of church & state because politicians & church folk have a symbiotic relationship that dictates discrimination of certain minority groups as a prerequisite in exchange for votes.. so what you have here is a coordinated effort by "the people of god" & the elected custodians of our mighty establishment to oppress a group who's only shortcoming is we don't have the numbers in terms of votes to sway political favor our way....

that old saying "if you don't learn from your's & the past mistakes of others, you're doomed to repeat them" is ringing pretty loudly right about now...
