I actually think his catalog is pretty solid musically.

That's tough but I might go with R&G.

I like his catalog too, I'm not going to say he got like 3 or 4 classics but I think his albums have had solid material mostly. But I think R & G is his 2nd best album and The Last Meal is my 3rd favorite

I rank them as:

Doggystyle

Tha Last Meal

The Blue Carpet Treatment

Rhythm & Gangsta

Tha Doggfather

Paid tha Cost to Be Da Boss

Malice N Wonderland

No Limit Top Dogg

Da Game Is To Be Sold Not Told

- Haven't listened to Ego Trippin' and didn't even know Doggumentary was released (lol).

lol @ doggfather being snoop's 2nd best..c'mon that shit was just run of the mill my fav track was "blueberries" and snoop didnt even have a verse that's sayin somethin

i'd have to go with top dogg..that album made have faith in that nigga again..it did have some wack tracks but the good tracks were bangin and he seemed to finally have a grasp on what he wanted to do and being able to balance no limit and west coast roots

I dont think I ever seen an artist Have Classic Debut album then just average ass albums after that.

I fuck with Snoop but damn.....

Tha Last Meal or NL Top Dogg.

Doggfather in retrospect might be cool I guess but as a follow up to Doggystyle, that sounded uninspired and lazy. Daz laced some beats on it though.

Snoop's shit has been forgettable after Doggystyle. I can't believe he actually made one of the best albums in rap history and after that everything in comparison is shit.

It's either BCT or R&G. Then one of those no limit albums. Not sure which one.

The one with bitch please, I think that's top dog right?

Every album he has atleast one major banger On it. From that's that with kells to I wanna rock, 2001 on the dogfather album, lay low he's got some good shit, just not something as top to bottom good as doggystyle.

I like doggfather too, if you listen to that album its the second best interms of him lyrically but rythm & gangsta was slightly more put together so r&g and doggfather comes in 3rd and 4th

I remember when Paid the cost to be the boos came out and everyone acted like that album was some huge comback for snoop. Now no one remembers it.

Impact wise:

The Last Meal gave Snoop's career a second life.

The Blue Carpet Treatment solidified his 2nd career resurrection/fluke that was R&G and he's been milking and coasting off the credibility gained from that album ever since.

Music wise:

the same, Last Meal followed by Blue Carpet Treatment. Doggfather is underrated but will always be viewed as a flop.
