What is inherently wrong with selling drugs?

I don't think your country will EVER legalize any form of drugs , the government needs crime and reasons to lock people up....keep the prisons full, but again they have money for wars but feed the poor.

Ok, I'm back......trust me I'm not shutting down from the debate I'm just really trying to understnd how selling drugs and prostitution is on the same level as contracting. I guess theres just a disconnect, because I'm just not getting the point of what you and blue are getting at. I like to debate, but I'm not above admitting if I've been proven wrong, I'm just not seeing it in this instace.

not all people grow up and say they wanna sell drugs.. some never in their wildest dreams thought they'd be PimPs..
they may not necessarily agree with it but if the risk is worth the reward.. or the means justify the end its no different then what ur sittin here sayin in attempts to defend urself..

sure they couldve went and got a job.. jus like u couldve applied fo a different job.. but they saw a better oppourtunity to put themselves in a better situation.. jus like u did regardless of how u initially felt about the situation.. if good can come of it the bad can be overlooked..

from my perspective its only wrong bc of how frequent users of weed/cocaine/crack/heroine are stereotyped in the media & throughout our society.. its crazy bc I know some white girls/boys who sniff up lines of cocaine and have a 3.5 gpa..

In addition rampant drug use in communities has the potential to drag down the areas value (look at sections of Baltimore for example)

If a dude wants to hustle..cool.. he just has to know he's automatically assuming the risks involved (jail time/death/possible self addiction)

The gov't may go the libertarian view on drugs and legalize them (just as they did with alcohol) & just control them..

Well, if it was legal and individuals were still selling it wouldnt those individuals still want to control certain areas of the neighborhood to maximize profits?

The drug being illegal doesnt erase the fact that the goons will still want to sell in a decent area and find a way to make trouble for those who get in their way.

Also, corporations would simply figure out a way to make it illegal for broke people and black people to sell the drugs under the premise that they can do it "safer." So making drugs legal is cool and all but if you think the government about to let a bunch of niggas come up you dreaming.

So @A.mann has a point. No matter if you go the legal or illegal route there will still be blood shed and incarceration.
