then that means everything about the bible is wrong

For a non religious man you like to compare things to what the bible would say huh?

I think it is pretty amazing how in the beginning, whenever that was, we have this image of just how serene and beautiful this place/world was.. and yeah still places that are.. But people in general have really gone off the rails.. and I dunno.. just sometimes I think is this really ever going to improve, or is it some journey liek we lemmings and will sooner or later all be walking off the edge but into pit of flames

of course..the bible and quran along with other texts are the center point of religion

if it wasnt for them would you even know of a hell existing?

I'd have to say pretty good chance we would not...

But then again without any 'holy books' being there we probably be more in tune with nature instead rather than God.. Naturists or whatever it is called..

No you would there would have always been word of mouth by those who thought these up, IMO the books were originally wrote as metaphorically showing people how to be morally correct and to frighten people into doing good, which along the way they got out of control and did the opposite in some cases and made the bible create conflict.

Now as far the question, I dont think so, Hell would supposedly be a place of no happiness or good, we have sorrounding us in abundance, it is just people would rather pick the negative over the positive. No one praises the Earth when its calm, but everyone hates it when it acts up. I believe that the Earth runs cycles, we always have periods of turmoil followed by so many years of calm and peace. The trouble we have now has been going on, its just technology has brought it to life in front of everyone so suddenly. I believe that we are about to enter the cycle of peace though, if we can get a grip on global warming that is. But also I dont really believe in a hell, I believe men who do right are allowed to enter an eternity of peace where as those who did not make the cut, get sent back to Earth to keep living.
