What has Def Jam done since Jay-Z stepped down?

DMX is a crackhead, Beanie is salty and Cool J is an actor....Why does Ross give props to Jay for signing with Def Jam, i doubt Jay had NOTHING to do with the signings

i'm talking about the fans. when jeezy, kanye, rihanna, ross, fab, nas etc do good jay gets the credit, but when ghost, redman, meth, roots, bleek etc flop then they say you cant blame jay because (whatever excues they come up with)

That's bullshit. I've never seen anybody give that type of argument. Dude had it right, Jay got no props for Def Jam success (or Rocafella success come to think of it) but all the blame for Def Jam failure. Don't try twisting it up.

first of all how can all of u ignore the fact that the rap music business has been down even further than it was in 2007 when jay left that def jam post ......

shit what has any rap labels done as a whole since 2007 besides young money .....
