the reason why i dont post on here as much as i used to is cause you have people like a couple in this thread that would dismiss someone for the color of their skin.... WTF is that shit? the world would be a better place without these people... its ignorance at his finest..... hip hop is not black music.... it hasnt been for a long time.... yelawolf is better than 95% of these wack ass southern rappers ex gucci, waka, soulja, the list goes on....

em is better than 95% of rappers PERIOD... these dudes have crazy skills.... their peers who happen to be black all respect them, seek them out, and listen to their music....

hip hop started out as a form of expression for black folk... i acknowledge that....

now there are multiple white rappers with skills, and white people are the biggest supporters of hip hop

thats not even the half....

these record labels and distribution owned by majority white people... the list goes on with white influence on this "black" art form....

like every other genre of music hip hop was started by a certain race.... it has grown throughout the years however and is now the popular genre making it pop music.... calling any other genre of music the music of a certain race would be downright stupid and the same now goes for hip hop....

I just downloaded his Trunk Muzik Mixtape. I liked his cameo on Big Boi's album. If we talkin music, I don't dislike anything I have heard from him thus far. Plus I like his interview in which he himself indicates this is "Black music", he is coming in humble. Respect to him. He look goofy though, but that is irrelevant to the music.
