My mom tells this story that when I was like 3 or 4, I wanted to be a garbageman cuz I didn't like taking baths. And my 3-year- old brain reasoned, 'Well these niggas fucking deal with trash all day; surely they don't have to bathe.'. Lol.

But since I was old enough to have REAL goals and dreams, all I ever wanted to be was a screenwriter.

A famous book author.. I used to paint vivid story book pictures in my mind..

I wanted to write books for the kids and become famous.

I wanted my books to fill the shelves of every Elementary school..

But then I told my big brother about that shit when he moved away for college and came home to visit and he laughed at me, told me that there was no good money in writing books and that those people struggle to sell their shit, him and my other bruh roasted the shit outta me and helped me realize that it wasn't a good dream and im happy they did.

I was always good at writing shit, I wrote a story in Elementary school as a homework assignment about a talking gorilla astronaut in outer space. My shit was so good that the teacher gathered us on the reading carpet and read it to the whole class during story time.. I mean I had talent.

When I got to high school I got so good at writing shit that I was writing in spanish and I aint even know what I was saying most of the time, but my teacher used to brag to the other spanish teachers about how good It was... man damn I had talent back then.

Nah bruh. Its too late for me.. My imagination isn't as sharp as it was whenever I was a youth, but it isn't too late for the future. Maybe someday I can instill my great writing skills into my children and they'll go on to accomplish what I could not.
