Pretty sure it was all about survival and just got ingrained in the DNA. If people didnt look/smell like you thousands of years ago they were probably a threat. And thats where it probably comes from.

I may be reaching here, but i believe, IMO, that it really started after slavery. once they gave us, us free, then we had to compete with them for work. for jobs. it was bad in the south during reconstruction. im not tryin to teach or preach, im just sayin. thats why i get upset when black people take up for the native americans. they was in the hunt too. they aint our friend. well, wasnt. they was too weak to survive. smh @ lil pink unicorn foot.

Primates instinctively are distrusting of other primates who look different. Humans have the capacity to abandon this particular instinct, but we're creatures of habit, so society makes it a slow process.

Ok no... It's not like Europeans never came in contact with Black people. Black people have been everywhere and interacted with everyone, including Caucasians. The Caucasian rulers purposefully created/practiced racism to benefit themselves. This was no accident. This is a well oiled psychological machine. The rulers knew what they were doing. They used fear on the common white people to gain their trust and support and loyalty. There's no way any righteous good people would support the massacre and chattel enslavement of others unless they were mentally brain fucked by some sort of cult or religious doctrine.
