By familiar I mean I recognize the name. Modern Family I have heard of and Cake Boss I have watched maybe once.
I don't watch all of the L&A's, mostly SVU. Maybe Criminal Intent from time to time but I prefer SVU's cast and story lines. I was put on over the holidays otherwise I probably wouldn't have started watching it, I don't watch much TV but I like SVU and CSI:Miami can be good sometimes as well.

I'll try watching it over the summer if I have the time. Since you say SVU is better in your opinion, I'll check it out
