Em has changed my life... before I was bewitched by the music of Pac and Jay and Lupe so on... it wasn't until I heard Marshall that I learned the errors of my ways... he is like the modern day Elvis... rock music didn't become anything until that great white touched it and now the same can be said about Em... rap was truly lost until the almighty Slim Shady came and took over

Praise be to him who is Em

Tell him Brother the Almighty Lord and White Saviour of HipHop Eminem was able to summon Pac from the depths of Purgatory to make him record with him and say G-unit, Pac soul may have been saved and freed by that very act, these non beleivers know not all that Marshal Does for them...

And for the record, 2pac is still the greatest of all time, there is no competition when it comes to Pac.

How dare you disrespect Shady the the maker of this art that you so love? How dare you disrespect the man that sighed Tupac to Deathrow and helped him come up.

Shady is god on earth he is the Moses of the rap game he can split the sea at will but instead chooses to lower himself to are low cowardly level of existence.

All hail the humble highest of most high Shady!!!!!

I was thinking about the comparisons made between asher roth and eminem, and why asher hasent seen the same success.

Biggest one I could think of, was the fact that asher doesnt really have no black people cosigning him, making him, "uncool."

we all know that when black people say somethings dope and support it white people jump on that shit blindly.

This being said, if eminem didn't have dre's cosign and d-12, would he even be taken seriously?

shock thread, some niggas around here need to check soem songs by em 99-03, he was best artist for awhile, via freestyles, your pretty racist to compared Asher to em, roth can barely rap.

em 99-02/ 03 maybe murdered ur fav rapper including nas immortal, royce. hes old now, just like Jay, no longer in his prime.

he had a huge disadvantage coming into rap, and thats why he has a huge advantage now with albums like relapse still being able to sell.

his first two albums his peers had a chance to speak up, but most were to scared, then when his racist tapes came out he had the machine to protect him.

Noooo because Black people are dumb... We got cool mottos like, "The game is to be sold, not told". Niggas gave Em his game and to his credit, Em ran with it. Niggas made Em the biggest name in hip-hop and then became his side kicks.

I think this song gave Eminem credibility and took him further than he was. SSLP was a big deal, but by the time MMLP dropped, Em was a superstar and I think this song is the song was the catalyst that catapulted Eminem to superstar status:

The Dr. Dre co-sign and affiliation was a huge factor in Eminem's success.

Along with the shock type content in his lyrics with songs like KIM, Him dissing popular pop-tarts at the time, His mother coming out against him on talks shows talkin that defamation of character shit. Niggas forget there was this whole Eminem storm that was happening. All of that contributed.
