I'm half-way through, and it's solid. Definitely better than his last album. I do like that he dropped the accents, but his rhyme-schemes are still similar to the last album. I don't really like the way he flows on a lot of the tracks, it's like he's trying to hard. He also does change his voice a bit. Back in the day, he almost rapped with his talking voice. Ever since he criticized Canibus for doing the same thing, he stopped doing it. The difference between Em and Canibus though is that Em's actual voice doesn't suck on the mic.
Lyrically, it's among his best work. Musically, so far, the beats are quite good. A lot of moody Dre-esque pianos and strings. That's a pretty fail-safe formula, so no complaints there.
Aside from the points about his flow, which applies to most his work in the past few years, it's one of the better albums I've heard this year. That's assuming it doesn't fall apart in the last few tracks.
