so how much does it cost to get it tailored to your specifications?

It all depends on where you go..my aunt is a seamstress so she handles all of that for me and i give her a few dollars for lookin out for me but most places offer free alterations if u purchase the suit there...but either way, it shouldnt cost u much if you only need minor adjustments..

I had a jacket altered for $40 bucks but i had the sleeves done and had a little trimmed off the bottom and had the waist taken in a little..the jacket was frumpy as hell but i liked the style and material so i had it fit to my specifications..

I guess yall ain't see the part where he said he got a $200 budget... Hit up that Men's Warehouse nigga, get that buy one get 15 free deal.

If you're ballin on a budget... hit the outlet spots up... you can find some good deals... This spring I copped my son a nice Ralph Lauren Polo suite from Lord and Taylor for about 200... took it to the tailor and got the jacket and pants done for about 120. Spend double the money and you can get a semi-custom from a place like Suit Supply.

I'm ordering from them for a fall suit as I plan on going on some interviews this fall winter.

You don't wanna get boxed in with one suit here if you're looking to use it for pulling these hoes. Can't meet 'em in a suit and then go on the date wearing some break-away warm ups and a golf shirt.

Hit one of those joints that advertises in the free newspapers. They usually run deals like 3 for $99, or 2 for $100 + 2 free shirts, 2 free ties, 2 free socks.

Get a reversible belt because its basically 2 belts in 1. Find a shoe shop at the budget mall that has buy-one-get-one deals, and get a black and a brown pair.

Ties are one size fits all so just get them from the thrift store. They're like a buck or two each and people with style die all the time so its not like there's only junk getting donated there.

Hit the tail end of happy hour in the business districts when these upscale hoes have a few drinks in them and won't be able to tell your shit isn't all finely tailored and what have you.

You'll be swimming in classy ass in no time.

I've gotten nice suits from Michael Koors, Hugo Boss,CK,etc before from Marshalls, Ross, etc for a 100. Make sure you go to a tailor and get your suit tailored up.

For $200

Goto men's wearhouse or KG

Get the slim cut CK or Ken Cole

Gonna cost u ~$45 or so to get minor alterations on pants hem and sleeves

Start there. Then you can build ur way up to more tailoring and better cuts as mentioned above

lol at niggas thinking price makes for quality of clothes, what type of sucker shit is that. If you can get a deal, get a deal. Don't be one of them dumb niggas running to Macy's or Lord and Taylor blowing 500 on a suit.

Yeah, you can't go wrong with a Jos a Banks joint if you're just starting out. If your job requires you to suit up, start there with the navy, charcoal and grays. Then you can sprinkle in some more expensive joints later on.

JAB is constantly running specials (though to me that kind of cheapens their brand). Then watch for the more expensive suits (like a Brooks Bros) to run their sales around Christmas and Fathers Day, and other holidays.

Lol at the Steve Harvey, Magic Johnson type epic button joints.

About $150 bucks depending on the suit... You gotta get a good fitting suit to begin with.. So the tailor just makes small adjustments.. So that your silhouette looks the way it needs to.. Suiting is a science.. The devil is in the details..

My first suit was an Express suit and I'd recommend it for beginners. Its not too expensive and was already slim cut, which negated the use of a tailor........

But i see you only have 200 to spend......

man im tryin to look clean for myself and also the bitches. i know i got only 200 but i need to look and feel clean and also make a bitch or a white ass hunkie be like damn he's sharp. n/h
