Fuck yeah!! Been wanting to hear some new DOOM for awhile. Westside Gunn is dope too. Together they can have some fire music. And Alchemist and Daringer on the beats?! Amazing potential.

You haven't heard the Adult Swim/DOOM weekly series they got poppin? Basically 15 new DOOM joints for the next 15 weeks & they're on week 4.

Negus with Sean Price from Imperius Rex

True Light Years with Jay Electronica

A solo joint & a joint with Kool Keith

I heard about it, only hears the jay electronica song so far. Gonna wait for full release to download. I didn't care for that song with JE too much though. The one I heaRd sounded incomplete tbh. Or just a terrible beat.

Anyone else recognize the sample?

Someone put me up on it...

I do. Can't remember the song. Think it was off operation Doomsday. But Rem & Stimpy took it from a old song from back in the day. Blackmoom used it on Reality.

Props to both of y'all. Its a piece of stock music in the public domain so I'm wouldn't be surprised if it was used in a lot of different instances...

The time I was thinking was in 1968 at the end of The Night of the Living Dead, one of the first films to have a Black main character...

At the end, Ben, the heroic, headstrong Black man and lone survivor if the cast is mistaken for a zombie by a trigger-happy mob of white people and shot in the head without question. The film ends with photographs of Ben's dead body being dragged by a meat hook and burned in a mass grave in a sequence that resembles a lynching while this haunting music plays.

Would have never known. The movie predates the Quincy track by a few yrs...

Nice drop...
