I'd rank him pretty high because I think it's really impressive to maintain commercial success for a long period of time. It's hard to keep a balance of mainstream appeal, and appeal to more real rap fans. Around top 15-20.

It's easier for these rappers that people like because they're "real hip hop heads, not worried about the industry, yadda yadda." That's the easier route IMO.

The best rapper to never have a classic album.Can make hits (some good some bad) has been able to have an actual career. Well thought-out moves and made great videos. One of the best for features, if you needed a big named rapper or just a dope verse, he was that guy for that void bro.
