I use some of mixcraft effects and audacity. But it can also be the mic you use. I bought some mic from SamAsh for about $150

Get some studio time practice and practice to get your verses on point down from the breaths between bars and how you come in and how you flow thru the song it'll go a long way! Keep up the grind tho...

I think if you invest in a good mic you won't have to worry about booking studio time. Plus you will save money. Invest in your own personal studio.I think once you do that, you might get better feed back on your tracks.
