The problem is cats are always trying to redefine what hip-hop is when the forefathers who built hip-hop have already done so.
Hip-hop is composed of four elements:
-B-boying
-DJing
-MCing
-Graffiti writing
If you ain't doing at least one of those things, you ain't hip-hop. Period.
So ratchets getting super-socked, white girls hanging themselves, dogs chasing their own tails, hoes getting their assholes tatted, etc., is not hip-hop, no matter how much people want to claim it is.
