This is what every hip hop producers weaponry should consist of. Or live instruments. i love how the roots can take a sampled record and play it with instruments and include all of the voice samples too.

Definitely gonna buy myself one of these...Fruity is dope for sampling, though

I think Primo, Pete Rock, and Large Professor they were able to get their samples cleared because they knew the in's and out's of the sampling game that maybe the new cats have not learn yet.

Pete Rock knows how to flip a sample in such a why where you wouldn't know where he got it from but people forget

these cats were really the first super producers and had budgets to get samples cleared. Once Hip Hop got really popular

tho it got harder and more expensive to clear samples. Plus its really the artists responsibility to get a sample cleared not

the producer and most artists do not have the budget.

True

J Dilla and madlib are pretty good at that, youll hear a the beat, then the sample. Then just be like how in the fuck did they turn that into this? Sample a sad song then make it a party bounce beat.

Stoupe is a Crazy ass sampler as well. in one beat the man used over 100 different samples. from different records and shit. im sure a lot of it is because he takes vocals from hip hop songs for a lot of his chorus's

I have always sampled and I love it man.Shit is so ill it´s like a game.Like a puzzle.Heart of hip hop. What sucks is that mpc[s cost way too much money man.

I think I´m a pretty good sampler on the fruity.I only use vinil nah mean. Some of my shit is on youtube.check it out.

Some of these cats now are to used to sitting at their computer to make their beats and don't even know the whole concept of digging for that old R&B album that haven't been used yet to make a good joint.

You can still get the vinil to the comp and chop it up.Not everyone got the dough to buy a mpc homie.

Naw that's what I mean about digging. Not to many cats dig nowadays.

u'd be suprised

Sampling never left. Producers just do a lot more interpolating and re-playing the samples live. Sampling in the traditional like in the 90's cost money and can mean the producer forfeiting credits. Rick Ross has a lot of those "BMF" sounding tracks, but his arsenal also consists of producers who create stuff like this:

Nah if niggas was real crate diggers then it would be no problem. These producers out here are lazy and don't take the time to sample some hot shit. All the MF Dooms, Q-TIps, Pete Rocks, Mad Libs, those cats were digging

the sample

=related
