the jwill drose dwade type thing aint so much nicknames as they are internet/text message generation short hand.

its lazyness/simplification like instead of typing out 'hahahaha' we just put 'lol' or 'lmao' when in reality i dont often actually 'laugh out loud' its more of a chuckle.

and also players who have the best nicknames usually get them before they blow up or when they have a defining moment. having a nickname just for the sake of a nickname or giving one to yourself is wack and usually sounds 'forced' (im looking at you, black mamba)
