kanye is the king...period....wait till he drops another classic album.....outshined jay all his career basically, held his own lyrically with nas, krs, rakim.....kills wayne on his own shit plus wayne fell off....jay is just a rapper with a good flow it seems...ross talks bout the same shit, the youth generation doesnt even know who the hell nas is...classic music=king status.....ye wins by a landslide

Why hip hop need a King? Ain't no rappers tryna bow down to niggas especially since all they do is rap like hey tryna do. I don't see people tryna do a King of country music or king of alternative...just rap and rnb act like they have to have some kinda head of everybody that's some ol slave mentality type shit like we blacks just have to have a massta even if its another blackman instead of whites

Being King means nothing nowadays. No rapper will ever be king or the best when they put their talent and art in the hands of others. We viewed B.I.G. as King because puffy made him that, at any time puffy could have destroyed his career like he did so many others and then B.I.G. would have been just another rapping ass nigga. Label CEOs are the true kings of this rap thing.
