Was the "Occupy" thing a bigger FAIL then the "Day without Immigrants" movement?

No. The day without immigrants made everyone's day a lil brighter.

It had the opposite effect.

People in America haven't suffered enough to take that movement to the next level. Its gotta be a severe collapse on the most basic things before niggas is ready to die for the cause.

What was occupy wall street about?
1% of the people control most of the wealth, the government bailed out corporations with taxpayer money, the government caters to the rich and the corporations instead of the people, etc; so let's protest.

Occupy thing wasn't really a fail, they changed the national narrative in a way that will have implications for policy and politics long after the last of the tent cities is gone.

Of course u could never prevent booms & busts but I think OWS was successful in setting the tone for the next social movement in Finance. To be socially responsible while making a profit. Banks are going to become the oil companies of the early 80s - hated, despised & spat on - even if they do well operationally.

see this is the problem, in order for there to be a strong social movement in Finance MUHFUCKAS CAN'T GET MENTALLY INTIMIDATED WHEN MATH GETS BROUGHT UP

lol thats like one of the main reasons why occupy didn't take off with the middle class, niggas were too scared to admit they don't understand finance....you can't pretend to be intelligent about that stuff like you can with poverty trends, abortion, freedom from government etc

hell you can even pretend to be knowledgeable about foreign issues if you talk about how great we are militarily and how deranged other governments are

ppl get exposed BADLY once we start breaking down the financial industry

I dint see what's so hard for people to get about what's happening with the occupy movement ... People have put themselves into this situation by being asleep at the proverbial life wheel ... This was about waking people up and hiping them to the knowledge of what their complacency has led to.
