tupac talked about biggie rappin about his life and taking material from the first version of me against the world and using it. if thats true it would explain biggie's fantasy rhymes. what else does his old lady say about him in the book?

She was talking about his father having a whole other family when he got her pregnant with Biggie.
The book is called "Biggie: Voletta Wallace Remembers Her Son, Christopher Wallace, aka Notorious B.I.G."
It's alot of stuff she talks about, u got to read it.

jayz, wayne and em are still alive....they still put out albums, they still do interviews, make videos etc

i expect people to talk about artists who are alive,

however someone who has been dead 14 years, when niggas had pagers, big brick sized cell phones and wore karl kani..u'd think dudes wud just move on and talk about somebody else....theres many other dead rappers, many other retired rappers, yet all niggas talk about is pac 90% of the time over all them dudes...

true although it's the Pac stans who bring him up and put him on MLK and Malcolm X and Obama and Marcus Garvey and such level in the eyes of black folks and tell cats they don't know shit if they disagree

but just look at the title of this thread, nigga really let pac fans get to him ?

if a nigga feels pac is his mlk or malcom x, nothing wrong with that, if they can find something positive in pacs music enough to inspire them, thats great.

93,

around and before the time Pac rolled with Biggy

One thing i got from Pac he was never a liar, nigga told it as it is, right to the point of saying his ball got shot off .

Stealing is very common in the industry, Pac made a mistake of lettin Biggy know the concept of his album (which was inspired by the getto boyz) and lettin BIG hear songs off the record...Biggy took the idea and ran with it.

Why would Biggy do this? well he needed a idea for an album and his mentor who had already had success was on to something, so why not just borrow it?

Biggy was a sneaky dude, you only have to hear his music....however it was Pacs fault for trusting him...

except there were songs recorded before he started hanging with pac. so what songs did big bite suicidal thoughts? everyday struggle? i mean give me an idea of the exact record he bit.

true but hence what I said about the part of not agreeing... they get offended and think individuals or groups are nuts because they don't agree. Like saying he'd of change politics and the such... just because a lot ppl feel you, don't mean you'll make a great politician

From what I have read and heard only a couple of Biggies Songs were recorded while at Uptown the majority of the album was recorded in 94 with the formation of Bad Boy. Stole material is a reach but topic anmd themes borrowed would be more accurate, that and Puffy was able to get Sampless cleared for Biggie that pac was unable to secure...

If you had street smarts and book smarts you'd realize it takes more than popularity to do things in politics and lmao at being real... what you do that's real? What makes you real??? Like I said understand the politics of politics and you'll come to understand your fantasy is just that. Peace young'n

Almost half of "Ready To Die" was recorded in 93' while Biggie was on Uptown. Pac was reaching when he said Biggie stole his idea cause in 93, Pac wasn't even recording "Me against the World" yet. He just released his 2nd album and he was working on the "Thug Life" album. Most of the songs from "Ready To Die" that was recorded in 94 were the most commerical songs. Most of the depressing and Death songs like "Ready To Die, Things Dun Changed etc" were recorded in 93 well before Biggie and Pac were even rolling like that. Again Pac was suspose to be on the "Ready To Die" album but the song they did didn't make the final cut.

Biggie never copied any concept from Pac. It's sad people still try to say it when it's know knowledge Biggie was recording "Ready To Die" in 1993 before him and Pac were even tight like that. I never understood why Pac would say "Biggie stole my whole album". I mean he was so upset with Biggie, I guess he just started making up stuff. How was Biggie stealing concepts when he was recording the album 1st? The song "Ready To Die" was recorded in 93 and Puffy said in the XXL making of "Ready To Die" that was the 1st song recorded for the album so him and Biggie agreed that should be the title instead of "Teflon Don" cough, cough Rick Ross cough, cough.
